Atlanta Gladiators

The Atlanta Gladiators are a minor league hockey team in the ECHL. The club is based in Duluth, Georgia.

About The Team

The Atlanta Gladiators franchise dates back to 1995, but they've been based in Georgia since 2002. From 1995-2002, they were the Mobile Mysticks. After a year off, the franchise moved to Georgia and played as the Gwinnett Gladiators from 2003-2015. Since 2015, they've been called the Atlanta Gladiators.

"Playing in Duluth was a good experience for me after I finished playing D1 in college. Our fans were great and I made some hockey friendships for life. A few of those teammates later stood up in my wedding. Some days, I wish I was still grinding at the rink every day alongside them."

Gas South Arena

The Gladiators play home games out of Gas South Arena. The arena is based 22 miles northeast of Atlanta and has been around since 2003 as a multi-purpose venue for concerts, events, and most importantly to us hockey people as home to the ECHL's Gladiators.

How many championships do the Atlanta Gladiators have?

0. The franchise has won a number of division titles and a conference title when the team played under the Gwinnett Gladiators name, but they are yet to win a Kelly Cup.

It's important to note that the Gladiators are based a bit north of downtown Atlanta in Duluth, but it's still close to Atlanta.
