About The Team

The Cincinnati Cyclones current ECHL franchise dates back to 2001. Prior to this, their prior franchise played in the league from 1990-1992 and then in the IHL (International Hockey Leagues) from 1992-2001 before joining the ECHL again. They're a well known hockey franchise in the ECHL and have won a number of division, conference, and league titles over the years.

Heritage Bank Center

The Cyclones play out of the Heritage Bank Center in downtown Cincinnati. The arena is perfectly situated on the river right next door to the Cincinnati Reds (MLB) stadium, the Great American Ball Park. The arena can hold up to 17,556 people depending on the event being held and is one of the largest arenas in the ECHL.

2. The Cyclones won the Kelly Cup during the 2007-2008 and 2009-2010 seasons. Along with holding ECHL championship hardware, the club holds numerous regular season, division, and conference titles in the league.

Interesting Facts

Cincinnati is home to one of the countries oldest zoo's, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. We’ve been to this zoo several times during our stays to see Cyclones games- it’s a great place to bring family and friends who are in town visiting.
