About The Team

The Heartlanders were founded in 2021. The organization is newer to the league, but brings an exciting minor league pro team to the fans of Coralville.

Xtream Arena

Opened in 2020, Xtream Arena is a multi-use arena in Coralville, Iowa that plays home for all Iowa Heartlander home games. Alongside the Heartlanders for hockey games, the arena is home of the Iowa Hawkeyes volleyball teams. Xtream arena has a capacity of 5,100 spectators (4,878 when the ice is in).

With Coralville's close distance to Univ of Iowa (5-10 min tops), that brings with it young people with lots of energy as well as cultural diversity with people coming to the state from all over. Interesting Facts

Not the most interesting of facts, but Coralville is home to one of the largest centers of shopping in all of Iowa, the Coral Ridge Mall. It not only draws shoppers to the area, but gives those who live here a wide variety of entertainment options.
