Off The Ice in Trois-Rivières, Quebec

Seated along the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, Trois- Rivières is a fun city with good culture and surroundings. Based on our recent time there for a couple hockey games, it had a nice history feel to it but plenty of entertaining things to do from getting food to museums- the rivers are beautiful too. It helps if you can speak some French, but if you're courteous and polite, a few French speaking people there will speak English with you.

Interesting Facts

Historic Old Town in Trois- Rivières is full of historic cobblestone streets and great architecture. The Ursulines Monastery here which was founded in the 1600's is the oldest educational institution for women in N. America.
