What players say...

"Tulsa loves their hockey and it showed when I played there. You drive into Oklahoma and it's really flat and open. You're thinking, I'm driving here to play hockey. Once I actually got situated with our housing and stepped on the ice with my coaches and teammates, it was evident this was a place I could thrive. We always had strong attendance numbers and supporters for home games."

BOK Center

The Oilers home arena is the BOK Center (short for Bank of Oklahoma). The Tulsa arena can hold up to 17,096 spectators for ice hockey games. This beautiful multi-purpose arena has hosted concerts for dozens of the world's top musicians from Garth Brooks (hometown) to Paul McCartney since it opened back in 2008. Along with being the main arena for the Oilers, the arena has also hosted games for the NCAA basketball tournament, bull riding, and a handful of NHL exhibition games have been held here. With the club drawing over an average of 7,000 fans per home game, it's one of the more electric barns in the ECHL. The Sooners in Tulsa sure love their Oilers hockey!
