About The Team

The Quad City Storm were founded in 2018 after the former team in town (Quad City Mallards of the ECHL) was planning to fold. A brand new ownership group took over the reigns, they joined the SPHL, and have been playing in the league since their 2018-2019 inaugural season.

What do players say?

"Loved playing in Moline for my 1st year pro. Suiting up in front of the home crowd was always fun. The team had a good setup for us away from the rink and I enjoyed a few of the restaurants and bars in town. My favorite had to be Barrel House."

Vibrant Arena at The MARK

Vibrant Arena at The MARK (commonly referred to as The MARK) is a large 12,000 seat arena that hosts an assortment of events ranging from concerts to local sports teams. Both the Indoor Football leagues Quad City Steamwheelers and the SPHL's Quad City Storm play their home matches out of this arena. With an average game attendance of over 3,000 fans per home game, it's a fun barn to play puck in for both the home and opposing teams.
