How would you compare/contrast HockeyEttan- Sweden Divison 1 and Hockeytvåan- Sweden Division 2?

HockeyEttan is definitely the stronger of the two levels head to head, but there are a number of quality teams as well as import players at each level. HockeyEttan is known for being a solid development league for up and coming Swedes as well as for being a place that more experience imports come to bolster rosters. Hockeytvåan sits one level lower in the hierarchy of Swedish hockey, but don’t let that fool you. You’ll find some strong clubs here too (especially in the South) and many Sweden Div 2 clubs could play competitively against higher leagues in less dominant hockey countries. Both leagues are quite large in number of teams so amidst all the rosters, you’ll find a range of imports ranging from top junior players through more experienced players with experience at the NCAA, USports, and pro level either in Europe or N America.
